Kangaroo TV available.
I am very happy to announce that after months of negotiation Kangaroo TV agreed to bring a few TV's over for people on the Waegook Cook F1 trip. I used this in Singapore and an F1 race without this TV is not quite the same. You get live TV, onboard cameras, timing, commentary, drivers' BIOS, track info and weather just to mention a few of many options you can select. Kangaroo TV will not be available to the F1 public at the Korean Race. They won't have a kiosk here and the only people who will have them are the people in the VIP suites and the lucky few who orders through Waegook Cook. I need to send through the names of people who are interested in renting a Kangaroo TV. The price is Won 120 000 per TV for the whole weekend. If you are on a tight budget two people can share. I need to send through the names as soon as possible.

7% Discount Still Available
The April discounts of 10% has come to an end but there is still a 7% discount available for early bookings. The official ticketing agency has given us no indication when this discount will expire, but if you still want to book at the discounted rate we urge you to book now. Ticket and accommodation prices are expected to increase in the months preceding the Formula 1 due to availability.

The billing section of www.f1.waegookcook.com has now been tested and is available.
First you need to fill out a short registration form. On the right you will see the button "choose a package", by clicking on this you will be presented with an interactive map allowing you to choose the desired location and package.
Locations are self-explanatory, if you want to join the fun but don't care about the race then there are two buttons at the bottom of the map.
We suggest people select Discount: Package A this includes Friday Practice, Saturday qualifying and Sunday Race Tickets, and offers substantial savings over the other packages. Select Package C for packages including Saturday qualifying tickets only or Package D for packages with Sunday Race Tickets only.
Click proceed, complete the remainder of the registration form and choose register now. You will then be presented with the billing section where you can securely pay online via PayPal or Credit Card.
If you don't have a credit card then don't worry you can also pay cash at Waegook Cook or by depositing the money directly into our bank account.
Update - April 7th
We have managed to secure 70 rooms and we are still looking into other options. The basic package looks like it will cost around Won 100 000 excluding the race ticket. This will include the accommodation for Saturday night, and a return bus ticket . The bus will also ferry you between the track, accommodation and any other places the group may need to go. We will have other options available but for now this will give you a rough idea of how much to budget for.
Add to this the ticket of your choice and you will have an idea of how much you will be spending all up. Most people are opting for Grandstand A, but you can get weekend grandstand tickets from Won 180 000. Tickets for just the race on Sunday starts as low as Won 128 700.
If you wish to linger longer or visit other venues as individuals we will be central enough for you to use other modes of transport without paying a fortune.
Some people have mentioned that they would like to book their own tickets, this is not a problem, but if you prefer we will gladly book the race tickets for you, please just make sure you select this option on the registration form.
There are discount race tickets available during the month of April and foreigners are able to book from April 15

We are not charging you any extra booking fee, in fact by booking now you will be getting the discounted no-tax deal. Unfortunately we are yet to translate the Korean Terms and Conditions so we make no guarantees at this time, but if you register now we will keep you up to date with any major changes.
Inside sources tell us that turn A (or 1) on the map is where all the action is going to happen, these seats are a little bit pricey but they will be worth it. There will be a big Waegook assembly happening there. If you are on a tight budget there will be many of us all around the track so you are guaranteed to have an awesome time where ever you are.
